For Dom, wine is about connection, something to be shared, explored, and enjoyed together. It has introduced him to lifelong friendships, unforgettable experiences, and endless discoveries.

His journey into wine began completely by chance. Fresh out of university and saving for a move to Paris, he was searching for bar work when he nervously handed his CV to a local wine bar. That spontaneous moment sparked a career that would take him through a variety of wine roles, harvest seasons across multiple countries, and even running a tasting business during the pandemic.

Eventually, the opportunity came to build something more permanent with Drop Kensington, a venue perfectly placed in the part of London he knows best. As a proud Fulham native, Dom recognised that Kensington was missing a true neighbourhood wine bar.

Dom’s approach to wine is thoughtful but never intimidating. The list champions smaller producers, lesser-known regions, grower Champagne, regional French gems, and standout Greek wines, one of his personal favourites. Old Bordeaux, in particular, remains one of Dom’s favourite categories for value and character.
